About an hour north we have the famous River-walk and all that San Antonio and the Hill Country have to offer, including craft shows and flea markets galore! On the Gulf Coast to the south east you'll find the fabulous beaches of Corpus Christi with the Aquarium, USS Lexington and fresh seafood to dine to your hearts content. The best bargain shopping can be found in Mexico, across the border from Laredo to the south west, not to mention great, authentic Mexican food.

For the fisherman, we are 1 mile away from Choke Canyon Reservoir, which boasts some of the best fishing south Texas has to offer. Anglers often report boating double digit large mouth bass and blue catfish.
